Manufacturing & Process Engineer
The successful candidate will have over 3 years\ ' experience as a process or manufacturing engineer in a busy manufacturing plant. You will have a degree in engineering, ideally manufacturing or mechanical. This role will be ideal for an engineer who wants to broaden their knowledge base working in a facility that will not limit you to any core area. This role reports to the engineering TL/SV supporting manufacturing and production to ensure uninterrupted production maintaining process control and driving continuous improvement.
Assist the global engineering team with the introduction of new manufacturing processes and equipment.
Coordinates the activities of in-house service groups and outside suppliers for machine, equipment, tool and fixture fabrication
Controls and optimizes existing manufacturing processes for the manufacturing of flexible containment products
Assists with standardization, efficiency, work flow optimization and cost reduction.
Degree in Engineering required, level 7 minimum, Lean Six Sigma green belt desired but not essential
3 years\ ' experience working in a similar role post education.
Can-do attitude with desire to want to develop professionally and not afraid of a challenge.
