As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day operations of the club. You will ensure a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment while driving performance across membership, fitness services, and team development.Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of the daily operations of NRG Knocknacarra.Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.Provide strong leadership and be a role model for professionalism and exceptional customer service.Effectively handle member and guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints.Manage club inventory, ordering, and budget control.Oversee cash handling and PCI compliance.Set and deliver on sales and membership growth targetsCollaborate with company directors on marketing strategies.Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and shared accountability.Recruit, train, and manage staff schedules and performance in line with business needs.Deliver a selection of fitness classes and maintain a visible presence on the gym floor.Oversee specialist operational areas including Health & Safety, Audit Readiness, Maintenance, Administration, and TrainingIdeal Candidate Profile Proven general management or senior leadership experience in a fitness or leisure environment.Recognised Fitness Instructor qualification (NCEF, ITEC, NCEHS, or equivalent).Experience in leading and teaching fitness classes & personal training.Proficient in Microsoft Office and leisure CRM/membership platforms (e.G.
